About tyskfotboll.seTysk fotboll (German Soccer) has its aim to spread the word about German soccer to the Swedish people. This is being done by having a number of sections, each of them with information, together forming Sweden's only site about the Nationalmannschaft. The biggest section is the players guide with legends like Franz Beckenbauer, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Jürgen Klinsmann as well as less famous.
The German national team has won the World Cup three times (1954, 1974, 1990) and the European championship three times (1972, 1980, 1996) making them one of the most successful nationals teams. The Germans have furthermore become World Cup runner-ups four times (the latest time in 2002) and two times European championship silver medalists. This impressive list has been made with a will to fight and playing both hard and technical through the years, if not at the same time.
It is also here you'll find facts about the friendlies and the qualification games the Germans have played, and who's been capped most times and the best scorer in the national team. It is of course also important to know the life between the national team gatherings, and therefore there is much information about the German first division Bundesliga on the site.
Since the modest start in 1998 the site has been modified many times, but it has always followed a red line, with a basic and easily read black text on a white background and a frame on the left, making it more easy to navigate on the site. The idea behind the design is also that you as a visitor should be able to focus on the information. The changes recently has been to change fonts and divide texts to make it easier to read.
Best Regards
Magnus Brink
